“Delaware Walk and Wine Friends”

We are a group of Nature Lovers who like to walk, hike, kayak and bike in small groups. For those that like some elevation gain and rocks we do both day and overnight trips to PA and Maryland. Generally we have 4 weekly local walks

March has been a fun month for us! We hiked in snow, we hiked trails littered with downed trees and we hiked on sunny days…regardless we Hiked! We also toured Carey’s Apirary and Volunteered at Tannersville Bog in Pennsylvania with The Nature Conservancy. Join us and meet some really nice people who love the outdoors!

East Coast Area

Although southern Delaware is our home base, we enjoy day trips to trails in Maryland and Pennsylvania as well as overnight trips to hike trails such as our annual outing to Ricketts Glen State Park’s “Falls trail” .

We keep all hikes, kayaking, and trips to a maximum of 10 people. Deborah Dalley Phillips organizes events in Delaware, Maryland and Pennsylvania in addition to hiking trips to National Parks . Email her at walkandwinefriends@yahoo.com

If you are visiting the midwest we have a chapter at Lake Tomahawk Wisconsin who are very active chapter.

Brandee Benson in Wisconsin is an extremely talented Juried artist but still finds time to lead hikes and wine tasting trips with members of her chapter. She also loves to lead her chapter on snowshoe hikes!
