March 15, 2026 Sunday Funday! The snow and ice should be gone so let’s hike the 7 mile trail at Lum’s Pond SP meet at Nature Center parking lot at 10:30 weather permitting we can picnic after hike Car pool suggested

March 21, 2026 Rocks State Park in Maryland, meet at 11:00 at the Rocks Chrome Hill Rd parking area, plan on after hike pot luck picnic. Our total mileage will be 5 miles but we’ll have some hills! If you haven’t been there it’s worth the drive. Rocks State Park features 855 acres of rocky forest land nestled in rural northern Harford County. Primary attractions at Rocks include the King and Queen Seat and Kilgore Falls. The main section of the park includes three picnic areas, 3.5-miles of hiking trails and access to Deer Creek, which is ideal for fishing, wading and tubing. The park’s two satellite properties, Falling Branch (home to Kilgore Falls) and Hidden Valley, are a short drive from the main park.
